Individual Event

Squat Jumps on Dynamax Ball

Duration: 2 minutes

2 points for squatting (buttocks to ball) then immediately jumping in the air (feet off the ground)

1 point for squatting (buttocks to ball)

FYI: To receive 1 or 2 points, your buttocks must hit the ball. All participants will be closely monitored by score keepers.




Rower

Duration: 2 minutes

Points: point score will equal meters rowed




Slam Ball Thrusts

Duration: 2 minutes

2 points for jumping out with both feet

1 point for stepping out one foot at a time

FYI: Exercise must be performed with 10 lb. slam ball




Sit Ups with 6 lb Dynamax Balls

Duration: 2 minutes

2 points for full sit up with feet on the ground

1 point for if feet come off the ground

FYI: Exercise must start with dynamax ball on the ground behind your head bringing the ball forward touching your toes. The ball return back and forth from the ground to your feet. It is ok to perform a pelvic tilt during the sit up.




Run

Duration: 800 meters (2 laps around the block)

Points: 100 points per minute

Example: Total run time 5:30 equals 530 points




Point Deductions

Note: All participants will have 30 seconds to transition to the next exercise category. Participants who are not in place to start the next exercise category within 30 second will receive a 10 point deduction for every ten second intervals up to 50 seconds. Participants who are not in place at the next exercise category within 50 seconds will be automatically disqualified for that particular exercise category. After all scores are totaled, there will be monetary awards and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group for male and female. Age groups: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 plus. The challenge will come to a close 45 minutes to an hour before time in case there is a tie. There will be an additional exercise challenge routine to determine the winner. 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 box jumps and sit ups. The individual with the lowest completion time will be the winner.




Final Score

The final score will be comprised of an accumulation of the total points from the first four categories minus the run time. Example:

Team Event

One Mile Obstacle Course Relay with 20 lb Combat Bag

Each person will run one lap around the building with the combat bag performing exercises at each corner before passing the combat bag to their teammate.

First corner: 15 burpees with the Bosu Ball. Participant will pick up the bombat bag and run to the second corner.

Second corner: Jumping Jacks down and back each square of the ladder (approximately 40 squares). Participant will pick up the combat bag and run to the third corner

Third corner: High knees down and back (12) 12’inch hurdles. Participant will pick up the combat bag and run to the fourth corner.

Fourth corner: Plank walk down and back each square of the ladder (approximately 20 squares). Participant will pick up the combat bag, run, and pass it to their next team member.

The fourth team member will run the combat bag to the finish line after completing all four corners.

Final Score

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will be determined by the team that completes the relay with the fastest time.
